Love Day, Love Baby & Chocolate Cake | Sacramento Baby Photographer

This post was inspired by Bree over at Bakedbree.com.  I posted to my facebook page something about my hubs favorite cake- Chocolate Kahlua Cake, and Ms. Bree, Ms. Baker herself asked me if I’d be willing to share the recipe.  Can you say, “totally flattered??”  Once you visit my dear friends blog, you will understand why.

Before I share the goods, I thought I’d post a few pictures about Love Day in our home.  It marks a very special day in our household.  Not only is it Love Day, a calendarized day to ensure you are sweet to your honeys, but more importantly (to me) it’s my hubby’s birthday.  Yup, he’s a love baby!

The day before V Day, Adam asked me if I wanted flowers.  I know, he’s funny.  I told him that we had pretty little roses in the front yard and I’d be delighted if he cut some for me and gave me those!  He’s such a cutie he greeted me at my car with this single pretty flower when I got home on love day…and then proceeded to find the perfect little vase.  When we turned the corner, he surprised me with long stem roses!  Awwwww!  We did our card exchange (another tradition we have for every holiday/special date/occasion)- I’ll spare you the sappy details.  And then I baked him a cake…

After reading this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this post together. Once again I find myself spending way too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!
